I was told when I purchased my L3000 the LA 450 S2 loader has a stronger subframe. The dealer that I bought through was out of the LB 400 loader. They said the LA would be better if I ever wanted a backhoe, because no special brackets would be needed. The dealer gave the same price as quoted with the LB 400. Hope this helps.
